Great Paintings
Have Great Design
I paint many subjects, but to me, it's all about
design. No mater the subject, real or abstract, my main concern is
the composition. In my workshops, we will spend much time on
design. Design can encompass virtually any style from
non-objective abstract to the most detailed reality. It is never my
objective in a class to influence your preferred style...only to
enhance it.
Learn to make better choices early on in your work.
Everyone Starts
as a Beginner
-
It works just fine to have a mixed group of
students. Often groups consist of a few fairly inexperienced
people to quite professional. Everyone learns from everyone. Me
too.
-
-
Most of my workshops are not for total
beginners. You at least need to know how to put paint on your
palette and have painted a few watercolors.
-
-
However, I could and would take on total
beginners - if it's the whole group. In that case, we would
start at the very beginning.
-
-
I believe art is an eternal challenge. You
never reach perfection, but you never want to stop reaching. We
all fit in there somewhere.
-
-
The objective of my workshops is to take growth
steps toward your own personal goals - No matter how far along
the artistic journey you are today.
